The old dog-bite prevention advice: stand still, don't make eye contact, don't yell or run, can work with a non-bully dog who doesn't want to fight. He wants you to leave so he lets you leave. But good bull dogs do want to maul and wrestle, tug and shred, break bones and rip tendons and veins. Pits experience the release of endorphins while mauling, so mauling feels right to most pits.

The new "TRY-NOT-TO-DIE" advice when pits are involved is to SCREAM LOUDLY...DO NOT STOP...PRAY...that a neighbor or passerby is brave and will come with a weapon to stop the attack. Try as long as you can to protect your throat and spine, your face and limbs, every part of your body! Remember: Good pits attack without reason, without warning. That's why essentially all USA dog fighters all choose pits! --by DEBBIE BELL

OR YOU CAN BUY A GUN AND LEARN HOW TO USE IT. HOW I WISH THAT PAMELA MARIA DEVITT IN LITTLEROCK CA HAD HAD A GUN. HEY, YOU KNOW WHAT. EVEN IF SHE HAD A GUN, I DON'T KNOW IF SHE COULD HAVE SHOT THAT MANY DOGS OFF OF HER AS THEY CIRCLED, KNOCKED HER DOWN, ATE HER ARM OFF, SCALPED HER, AND DRAGGED HER AROUND FOR 50 YARDS.
