CHESTERFIELD COUNTY VA - NEIGHBOR'S PIT BULL JUMPS FROM 2ND STORY WINDOW AND ATTACKS A LAB BEING WALKED BY A TEENAGE GIRL

Monday - May 21, 2012 - Melinda Hodge's daughter was walking their Chocolate Lab Marley down the street when a neighbor's  PIT BULL ......

*****************************************************************************

LEAPED THROUGH A SECOND STORY WINDOW AND HIT THE GROUND AND TOOK OFF AND ATTACKED MARLEY.....

*****************************************************************************

Hodge's daughter got away but Marley had to have 8 stitches.  Hodges says that 3 days later, the Pit Bull ZEUS got out again.

                           ***********************

ENTERS THE  RESPONSIBLE EDUCATED PIT NUTTER OWNER
                          TRAVIS HAMME!!!!!!!!!

"HE'S STRONG.  HE BREAKS CHAINS AND STUFF SO I'VE HAD TO CHASE HIM DOWN A FEW TIMES.  THE POUND'S PICKED HIM UP A FEW TIMES.  WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT A DOG WOULD JUMP FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW....BUT HE'S NOT AGGRESSIVE, HE'S NOT DANGEROUS. YEAH, I'LL PAY THE BILL.  I'LL AT LEAST DO THAT.  I'M NOT A JERK OR NOTHING.  IT WAS AN ACCIDENT.  THINGS HAPPEN.  THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.  MEASURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T GET OUT OF ANY WINDOWS OR ANYTHING IN THE HOUSE."

Chesterfield Animal Control couldn't ticket Hamme for his dog running at large because......

!!!THEY DIDN'T SEE IT AND IT'S UP TO HODGES TO TAKE HER CASE TO THE MAGISTRATE!!!
