BIG ROCK IL - A BULLMASTIFF HAS KILLED ITS OWNER - 44-YEAR-OLD FIREFIGHTER DAWN BROWN

AUTOPSY REVEALS WOMAN WAS KILLED BY HER "RECENTLY ACQUIRED" LARGE DOG - HER BODY WAS FOUND AT THE BOTTOM OF THEIR BASEMENT STAIRS.

LATEST:  DAWN BROWN DIED FROM BITES TO HER NECK  BY A 140-POUND BULLMASTIFF  SHE HAD RECENTLY TAKEN IN FROM A FAMILY MEMBER

DAWN BROWN, 44, was discovered by her husband about 4:15 pm Monday in their home in the 400 block of Jefferson Street in Big Rock. An autoposy completed Tuesday showed she died from injuries caused by one of her dogs A BULLMASTIFF.  The couple had 2 other dogs - a Boxer and a Pit Bull Mix.  All 3 dogs are in the custody of Kane County Animal Control.
