ALBUQUERQUE NM - A PACK OF DOGS ATTACKED A 4-YEAR-OLD GIRL AS SHE PLAYED IN THE BACKYARD

A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized on Monday after several dogs dug under a fence and attacked her in her Grandmother's backyard.  The girl's mother says she ran out to get the dogs off her daughter and was bitten by the Husky on her hand.  The child received 75 stitches and A DOG'S TOOTH WAS REMOVED FROM HER SCALP!!!  The mother stated that the Husky appeared to be the most aggressive and had her daughter's blood on him but the other dogs were joining in the pack.

Police arrested 2 owners of the dogs on PREVIOUS ANIMAL VIOLATIONS AND TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS.  As many as 5 dogs were seized and 2 more were taken later. The owners claim that only 1 of their dogs got out to attack the child and the rest of the dogs were other neighbor's dogs.

The Husky and possibly German Shepherds have been named as the neighbor's dog breeds.  Different videos have shown possibly an English Bulldog and a small white dog possibly a house dog.  These could have been some of the other neighbors dogs that were found in the area.
