ATLANTA GA - A 68-YEAR-OLD WOMAN CAME HOME FROM CHURCH ON MOTHER'S DAY TO FIND HER CHIHUAHUA RIPPED APART BY 2 LARGE DOGS - IN A STRANGE TWIST SHE WAS ARRESTED

Southeast Atlanta neighbors are on edge after they say 2 large dogs attacked and killed a small dog on Mother's Day.  They say this is the second one killed by the dogs.  But in a strange twist, the small dog's owner was cited for animal cruelty.

Virginia Broome, 68, says they ate her dog up....shook everything out of him...everything was hanging out.  Neighbors say the large dogs are constantly escaping the fence and they are in fear that a child will get attacked.

According to a police report, investigators say Broome refused to seek medical attention for her small dog even though it was suffering.  Atlanta Police say she also resisted arrest and was cited with obstruction.

Fulton County Animal Control said they would cite the owner of the large dogs if someone came forward as an eyewitness.
