WARREN OH - A NEIGHBOR'S 2 HUSKIES ATTACKED A SMALL DOG ON ITS PORCH THEN KILLED ANOTHER NEIGHBOR'S JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

(WYTV) – After a series of dog attacks in Trumbull county, one woman is thankful to be alive.
On Wednesday afternoon, Helen Mahon let her dog Piper outside on her porch. TWO HUSKIES came around the corner of her house and attacked her dog.

Mahon was bitten on her face and arm. Piper was bitten multiple times as well.

“I ran out there. And I was going to save my dog no matter what. So I grabbed a tool that was on the porch and I beat them off. But then they came up after me,” she said.

The two huskies also attacked and killed a Jack Russel Terrier that lived next door. The Trumbull County dog warden said the dogs must remain quarantined at the the house for 10 days after the attack. They also will be labeled as dangerous dogs, which will require the owners to comply with the dangerous dog law.

“I am scared to death. I am afraid to go outside,” Mahon said.

Charri Everson owns the huskies. She was shocked and devastated when she found out what her dogs had done.

“I can barely even look at them anymore and I know they are not like that. They are sweet,” Everson said.

She said that the dogs have escaped before, but they have never done anything like this. And she is now faced with a very tough decision.

“I love them to death but I don’t think that I can keep them now that they have bitten someone. I think I am going to have to give them up and have them put down,” Everson said.

She has been charged with failure to restrain her dog and will appear in court next week.

This is the response a normal person has when they discover their dogs get out and go attack and kill. Pit bull owners prove over and over how abnormal they are after their pit attacks.

Here's a clue. Keep your dogs in your own yard and they won't kill or bite anything or anyone and then they won't have to be PTS.
