Man Attacked By Dog Speaks Out About 'Terrifying' Ordeal Northern Michigan's News Leader

VICTIM SPEAKS - VIDEO UPDATE: Jogger Attacked By Dog in Crawford County

A man was sent to the hospital after being attacked by a dog in Crawford County. 
It happened around 10:30 in the morning on June 6 in Beaver Creek Township. 
A 69-year-old man was jogging in his neighborhood on S. Oak Road when he was attacked. 
The Crawford County Sheriff says a PIT BULL was not contained and charged into the roadway and attacked the man when he jogged by. 
The man received significant injuries and was treated at Munson Hospital in Grayling. 
He was later released. 
The dog was taken to the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter pending the outcome of the investigation. 
The sheriff would like to remind pet owners that it is their responsibility to contain pets on your property, have dogs licensed and up to date on all current vaccinations.
