ROCK HILL SC - A WOMAN VISITS A PIT BULL OWNER WITH HER SON - THE PIT BITES BOY'S FOOT - NUTTER FLED WITH HIS MUTANT - MOM CHASES THEM AND NUTTER BITES MOM
A man is accused of biting a woman on the arm Monday after she tried to gain control of his dog that had just bitten her son.
Errick Lewis Williamson, 26, of Deas Street, was charged with third-degree assault and battery and possession of marijuana, according to police. He was placed in the Rock Hill city jail but later released after posting $1,600 bond.
Williamson was at the victim’s home on McDow Drive when his PIT BULL bit the victim’s son on the foot, according to a police report. Williamson fled, and the boy’s mother chased him to Hargett Park, where he turned his dog loose in her direction.
The 32-year-old victim said she stepped on the dog’s leash to gain control of the animal, at which point Williamson bit her on the arm, police said. Officers saw a bite mark on the woman’s left forearm.
Williamson admitted to officers that he left the scene after his dog bit the child. He also admitted to biting the woman on the arm after she “tried to control his dog.”
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
After arresting Williamson, officers searched his backpack, in which they found a bag containing what appeared to be marijuana and a grinder.
