VIDEO:  VICTIM SPEAKS

Francesco was walking to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church when one of the dogs pounced, followed by the other, according to the son.

THE VICTIM'S SON SPEAKS AS WELL AS THE WOMAN WHO MADE THE VIDEO,,,,,

UPDATE FROM THE DAILY MAIL:

The attack was so brutal even the priest came running out of the church to read Bove his last rites because it 'looked like he was going to die,' Bove's son Anthony told the paper.
'But the father said he had to promise to fight through it.'
Bove came through with his promise, but was left with a shredded ear, 'two big chunks missing' from both his arms as well as multiple lacerations to his legs and chest and potential nerve damage.

AND YET THE ARTIST, WHO OWNS A PIT BULL HIMSELF, IS WORRIED ABOUT THE DOGS THAT ATTACKED HIM.

Bove said he had never met and didn't interact with Oliver, whose apartment is next to the church.
'Those dogs, they were trained to fight,' he said.
Anthony Bove said it was clear the dogs were hungry for his father's blood, saying he saw them licking it as it spilled into the street.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A woman has been arrested and charged after her 2 PIT BULLS allegedly attacked a man on the street in the Bronx.
The vicious attack happened around 9:40 a.m. Friday on Belmont Avenue between 187th and 188th streets in the Belmont section of the Bronx, police said.
Sources told CBS2 the owner of the dog — a 55-year-old woman – and the victim – a 62-year-old man – had gotten into a quarrel and the woman allegedly released the dogs on the victim. The dogs had been on leashes, sources said.
YouTube video of the incident starts with two white pit bulls attacking the man as he stands in the street.
The person walking the dogs can be seen trying to restrain them, but to no avail. The victim then falls to the ground as the dogs continue to attack.
As the video continues, neighbors rush in to try and get the dogs off the victim while a person can be heard calling 911 to report the attack. With the help of several good Samaritans, the bloodied victim is able to get away from the dogs after several minutes.
Police told 1010 WINS the victim, a 62-year-old man, was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. He suffered lacerations to his chest and arms and his right ear was severed, sources said
Another man, 46, who stepped in to fend off the dogs was also injured in the attack and taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, sources said. He suffered injuries to his arms and legs and his condition  was also reported as stable, sources said.
The dogs’ owner, 55-year-old Cynthia Oliver of the Bronx, was taken into custody and was also taken for a psychiatric evaluation, sources said. She was charged with eight counts of assault and two counts of reckless endangerment, sources said.
The pit bulls were taken to Animal Care & Control of New York City, authorities said.

That video nearly made me cry. Normally I don't watch the attacks because they're too upsetting. This was definitely a brutal attack, and it's easy to see how relentless the pit bulls are. The crowd gets the pit bulls off, and they come right back. And the amount of blood, is just astounding!

I can't believe the victim walked away. Seeing the pit bulls still attacking explains why. SO SAD!

Pit bull owners are heartless, selfish jerks! We need protection from these beasts and their pit bulls! Come on already!

The first victim is apparently just as much a jerk and heartlessly selfish as any other pit bull owner. He's excusing the attack on himself so he can blame the victim when his own pit bull mauls or kills someone.

Why do people keep risking their own lives to help people like this? When someone who owns a pit bull gets attacked by a pit bull -- be it their own or someone else's -- best is to leave them to it. If you risk your life to save them, they won't be grateful and won't care one bit about any injuries (or death) you suffer by it.

P.S. Francesco will probably be really PISSED if someone calls the police or kills his own pit bull when it attacks some innocent bypasser. Really, let these people deal with it alone when they're fighting off a pit bull. If you help them, their thanks will be to endanger your and your children, and to deny you the help you offered them.
