LEXINGTON KY - PIT BULL "MIX" DRAMA - A DOG OWNER IN A HOME WHERE THERE WERE AT LEAST 6 DOGS WAS ATTACKED BY THE PIT BULL/ MASTIFF MIX - NEIGHBORS SAY THE DOGS HAVE RUN LOOSE, ATTACKED PEOPLE AND KILLED OTHER PETS

LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - Emergency crews rushed a woman to the hospital Thursday morning after she was attacked by at least one dog at a Lexington home.
The woman, who has not been identified, was rushed to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with severe injuries.
Authorities were on the scene talking to the owner of the animals. Animal control says officers had previously been to the home, which is on Woodward Lane.
Animal control information officer Tim Brown says a mother and her daughter got into an argument around 10:27 a.m. when a pitbull-shepherd mix entered the room where the two were arguing. Brown says a pitbull-mastiff mix attacked the pitbull-shepherd. The dog owner was bitten by the pitbull-mastiff.
There were five other dogs in the home, but they were not involved in any type of fight or aggressive behavior.
Neither dog has been confiscated because it happened inside. No one has been cited.

None of the dogs were confiscated! How nice, the owners still have a shot at their Darwin Awards!

I'm sure the neighbors are thrilled.

Who needs that many dogs? Who needs that many dangerous dogs?

Great -- we pay their hospital bills AND they get to keep the pit bull mixes.
