The Anderson Police Department says three people were attacked by dogs and one left with serious injuries Tuesday evening.
According to the Police Department, officers arrived at the scene of the attack at the corner of Osborne Ave. and Shirley St.
Three people were injured from multiple dogs that surrounded the victims while they were on top of a truck.
Officers said they went to help the victims, but could not get close to the dogs.
They said one of the dogs charged in their direction. A second dog was shot as it tried to attack and officer.
A third dog was captured.
All three dogs were taken to Anderson PAWS to be tested for rabies and other diseases.
Police said one of the victims had blood loss, but none of them had life threatening injuries.
Officers say the owner has not been found, but is expected to be arrested and charged for letting the animals run loose terrorizing people.
They say two of the dogs had microchips which say they were owned by Tayvon Morton in Greenwood. They do not know if they belong to him anymore.

Of course Tayvon Morton will deny ownership, now that nanny doggies have done something bad. What are the chances that TWO pit bulls have microchips pointing to the same owner, and both are involved in a serious attack, and ownership of the horrid creatures are in question?
