GATINEAU QUEBEC CANADA - A PIT BULL TYPE DOG ATTACKED A 19-YEAR-OLD MAN THAT WAS VISITING A FRIEND

Gatineau police were called to a home on St. Louis Street Wednesday evening after a 19-year-old man was bitten by a pit-bull-type dog several times.
A 19-year-old man was taken to a hospital on Wednesday night after a friend's PIT BULL TYPE DOG  bit him several times on the arm and head at a home in Gatineau, Que.
Gatineau police said the man was visiting his friend when he was attacked at around 7 p.m. 
The incident happened on St. Louis Street, close to the boundary between the cities of Gatineau and Cantley.
Police have not said how severe the man's injuries are or if he is planning to press charges. 
The dog was seized by the local SPCA.
