MISSISSIPPI - A YOUNG MOTHER SHARES HER STORY ON FACEBOOK OF THE FAMILY'S "GOOD" PIT BULL THAT ATTACKED HER GRANDMOTHER

"This is the result of my pit coco's attack on my grandmother..... He was never abused never fought... He slept in the bed with me or my kids.... He stayed in our house or in the yard...... He was treated as if he was one of my own children..... Out of no where for no reason he attacked my grandmother as she was walking inside.... I can't say why or what set him off.... He viciously attacked her biting and shaking her leg... She also has teeth marks on her arm and a few puncture woods from his teeth on other parts of her leg and foot.... In the first bite he grabbed her right leg and yanked causing her to fall which broke her left ankle... The result she can not walk because both legs r damaged for the time being.... I use to disagree when people would say the breed is vicious... I would say no its how they r raised... That is a complete lie because this pit was raised like a human and turned with the blink of an eye for no reason... Some pits don't they are great but it's in there blood and can turn before u can blink.... I lay her with my grandma after surgery and wish it was me as to the fact I'm helpless and there isn't anything I can do for her pain and the fact she can't walk but try and help the only way I can.... she didn't deserve this. And I keep playing the attack over and over to see what I could have done differently but I guess nothing just be thankful it wasn't worse and didn't happen to my kids.... but my grandmother is one strong cookie... she didn't cry.... she had been a trooper this whole time .... Although after the fact coco was trying to check on her and whimpered and sniffed her... PITS ARE DANGEROUS AND WILL NEVER BE AROUND MY FAMILY AGAIN."
