SAN ANTONIO TX - A PACK OF DOGS HAD A MAN DOWN IN THE STREET EATING HIM ALIVE - AN OFFICER ARRIVED AND WAS ALSO ATTACKED BUT...HE HAD A GUN...THE ONLY THING THAT SAVED HIM AND HOPEFULLY THE FIRST VICTIM !!!


The officer saved a man's life who was allegedly being eaten alive by up to seven dogs just after midnight.
The officer responded to Cantrell Drive and Commercial Avenue for reports of a man screaming in the street.
According to reports, the officer witnessed the victim unconscious in the street being picked apart by a pack of dogs.
The officer began to attempt to save the victim, and himself became the victim of a dog attack. The officer was able to shoot four of the dogs, fatally injuring three.
The officer sustained multiple bite wounds to his face, forearm, groin, calf, and left tricep, and was transported to University Hospital to be treated.
The victim was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in serious condition. Reports stated his skull was exposed, his ear was bitten, and chunks of his flesh were ripped off his body.
