Witnesses said a dog ran towards the park from the river area then immediately bit another dog by the neck and wouldn't let go. The owner of the attacked dog was injured while trying to separate the two. He was only able to stop the skirmish by killing the attack dog.
The owner of the attack dog collected his pet and apologized for the incident. He left the scene before officers arrived. He was seen leaving in a 2016 red and white Razor XP.
Officers would like to make contact with this subject to verify details. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department and speak with Officer Essig.
MY COMMENT TO THIS STORY: I HATE THE WORDS "SEPARATE THE TWO" AND "STOP THE SKIRMISH" IN A NEWS ARTICLE ABOUT AN AGGRESSIVE DOG ATTACKING ANOTHER DOG BY BITING IT ON THE NECK AS IF THE 2 DOGS WERE EVENLY MATCHED AND BOTH AGREED TO FIGHT!!! IT WOULD BE NICE IF WE KNEW THE BREEDS OF BOTH DOGS AND THEIR SIZES......AND I SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW HE KILLED THE MONSTER????!!!!!
