COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY - A BASKETBALL PLAYER FROM AUSTRALIA, NELSON KAHLER, WAS ATTACKED BY A PIT BULL WHILE WALKING DOWN A STREET WITH FRIENDS

 




















A starter on the Colorado State University-Pueblo men’s basketball team sustained injuries after being attacked by a  PIT BULL early Sunday morning following the team’s Saturday night win over Metro State.

Nelson Kahler, a 6-foot-9 junior from Australia, was bitten on the ankle and more severely on the hand. Kahler said he and several friends were walking down Constitution Road when they became aware of a man attempting to chase down the dog.
