Deputies say a homeless man was sleeping when a PACK OF PIT BULLS  started biting and attacking him overnight in suburban West Palm Beach. The incident occurred on North Military Trail just north of Belvedere Road.

Law enforcement said a person called 911 saying they heard someone screaming in the area.
Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene and tried to get the pit bulls off the man. They were forced to kill one of the attacking animals.

Deputies canvassed the neighborhood looking for more of the dogs but did not locate them. They believe the dogs are strays but that is not clear.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is conscious and talking but suffering from bite injuries.

And now sleeping is added to the list of pit bull triggers......

Police should NOT "try to get the attacking pit bulls off". They should be trained and required to shoot all attacking pit bulls dead on the spot. It's not acceptable that a number of these pit bulls are still out there endangering everything in the area.

I thought sleeping was added to the list a while back? If not, it is now. The video is disturbing!
