LEBANON PA - 2 UNNAMED BREED DOGS BIT A 10-YEAR-OLD BOY PLAYING BASKETBALL IN AN ALLEY

Police say a 10-year-old boy was bitten by two dogs in a Lebanon alley.
It happened on the 300 block of Prune Street last week.
Authorities say the child, who was playing basketball in the alley, was bit on both arms.
Police cited the owner, who was not supervising the dogs at the time of the incident, with dogs running at large and dangerous dogs.

"On 2/20/2016 at 1752 hrs police were dispatched to the 300 Blk of Prune St for a complaint of a dog bite. Police spoke with a 10 yr old male from Lebanon who stated that he was bit on both arms by two dogs. The juvenile male stated that he was in the alley playing with a basketball when the dogs attacked him. The dogs were running at large at the time and not supervised by an owner. The juvenile male required emergency medical care for the injuries he sustained. Police identified and cited the owner of the dogs, 37 yr old Tiandra Cherry from Lebanon, with Dogs Running at Large. Cherry was also cited with Dangerous Dogs for the unprovoked attack on the juvenile."

If it hadn't been pit bull types, the police would have stated the breed or type of dog. When will they get it that the public is onto this transparent fact?

But regardless, any dog that does this should be removed and humanely euthanized.
