LIVE OAK, SUWANNEE COUNTY FL - 4 DOGS ATTACKED A 20-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WHO WAS WALKING IN THE WOODS LOOKING FOR HER OWN DOG

A Live Oak woman was flown to the hospital after she was attacked by FOUR DOGS, according to reports. 
The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about an animal attack around 5 p.m. Thursday on 97th Lane, east of County Road 49 on US Highway 90, the report states.The victim was a 20-year-old woman who lived nearby.
She said she was walking in the woods looking for her own dog. While she was searching, four dogs came out of the property on 9200 block of 97th Lane and became aggressive, according to the SCSO. 
Two of them were biting at her legs, she told deputies, one of which then grabbed her backpack and ran back into its yard. 
The third one then ran toward her, she told authorities, and starting biting on her left ankle and calf area. 
The fourth dog then began biting on her right leg, according to the SCSO. 
As she tried to get away from the animals, her foot got caught in a tree limb and she fell. As she was on the ground, the first two dogs started attacking her and dragged her out onto the roadway, the report states.
She screamed for help, according to the report, but the dogs kept biting all over her body. Her father heard the screaming and saw the attack, according to the SCSO. He picked up a tree limb and ran toward his daughter, yelling until the dogs ran back into their yard. 
The woman had several scratches, lacerations and puncture wounds, the report states. She had to be flown to Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville for treatment.
The SCSO contacted the owner of the dogs, telling him to quarantine the animals until animal control contacted him.
