ST. PAUL MN - A ROTTWEILER "SOMEHOW" GOT OUT AND ATTACKED AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE BEFORE BEING SHOT BY AN OFFICER

St. Paul police shot and killed a dog that they say bit several people Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported about 4:50 p.m. Sunday near the Edgecumbe Recreation Center on Griggs Street South in St. Paul.
Police say the  ROTTWEILER  escaped from its owner’s yard and attacked at least three people, causing bites and cuts to their arms and legs.
Animal Control tried to get the dog under control for about 20 minutes, but an officer shot and killed it after it charged toward another group of people, according to the police report.
It’s not clear if the dog’s owner will be cited.
