Des Moines County, Iowa (KWQC) – A 4-year-old was critically injured after a dog attack Sunday night, April 17, 2016.

The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Michael Hanson residence at 4279 160th St. around 7:22 p.m. Officials learned that the child was taken to Burlington, Iowa in a private vehicle where they were met by an ambulance. The child was taken to the Great River Medical Center and then airlifted to Iowa City Hospitals in critical but stable condition.
Witnesses say the child was attacked by FOUR DOGS. The incident remains under investigation.
