KETCHIKAN ALASKA - A PIT BULL ATTACKED JEFF RODGER, 70, AS HE WAS TAKING HIS DAILY WALK
A 70-year-old Ketchikan man was attacked and bitten by a loose PIT BULL Monday afternoon, according to Alaska State Troopers.
A dispatch released Tuesday states Alaska State Wildlife Troopers responded to the area of Christopher Road for a report of a black pit bull attacking a male identified as Jeff Rodger. Upon arriving to the scene, they found emergency medical services treating Rodger for dog bites to both of his legs.
According to AST, Rodgers said he was taking his daily walk when the loose dog approached him.
The pit bull was removed from the scene by animal control authorities.
