ORANGE COUNTY FL - A FAMILY'S PIT BULL ATTACKED THEIR 9-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER - SHE WAS HOSPITALIZED WITH SERIOUS INJURIES



A 9-year-old girl was bitten in the face by her family dog – A PIT BULL - this afternoon in Orange County and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
She was in serious condition and transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
County fire-rescue personnel were dispatched shortly before 2 p.m. to a home on Triple Crown Circle, not far from State Road 417 and Curry Ford Road, according to agency spokeswoman Kathleen Kennedy.

Sheriff's deputies also were there, and so was a crew from Orange County Animal Services.

A young girl was attacked by a PIT BULL in Orange County and rushed to the hospital with major wounds, WESH 2 News has learned.

It happened just before 2 p.m. at a home on Triple Crown Road.

The 9-year-old was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital.

It's believed the family owned the dog.
Officials said the dog, identified as Enzo, was humanely euthanized at the request of the owner.

The girl is listed in stable condition.
