A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl was attacked by a dog while she was playing at the play area in Rowan Drive on Saturday (June 27).
The girl was on the zip wire seat when a  STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER  jumped up and bit her stomach and wrist. 
It caused a minor wound and the dog ran back to its owner when called. 
The owner, described as a 30-year-old white man, about 5ft 8 with a bald head with very bad eczema on his arms then walked off without any concern for the child.
The dog is brown with black stripes and was wearing a red collar. It wasn’t seen to have been muzzled or on a lead at any point.

You keep taking off when your pit bull attacks, and hope you don't get caught. We wouldn't want reality to catch up with the responsible pit bull owners, now would we?
