MIAMI FL - A PIT BULL MIX ATTACKED A POSTAL WORKER



MIAMI - A dog attacked a postal worker Tuesday afternoon in Miami, a U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman said.
The dog, believed to be a PIT BULL MIX, attacked the woman in the 2100 block of Southwest 24th Terrace.
USPS spokeswoman Debra Fetterly said the employee was bitten on the arm or hand and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
The woman has been a letter carrier with USPS since 2001.
Her identity has not been released.
The dog's owner is expected to be questioned by Miami police.
