BAYSWATER VICTORIA AU - A MAN WAS MAULED BY A RIDGEBACK BULL CROSS AND SUFFERED INJURIES TO BOTH ARMS AND BOTH LEGS

A MAN suffered bite wounds to his arms and legs in a dog attack on a Bayswater street on Wednesday afternoon.
St John Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene on Winifred Road just before 3pm and took a man aged in his 20s to Royal Perth Hospital under normal road conditions.
A police spokesman said a dog had been seized by rangers following the incident.
A nearby resident told PerthNow he heard screaming, rushed to the scene and helped the injured man.
He said the man had been bitten on both arms and both legs.
“There were a fair few holes in him and a fair chunk gone,” he said.
The witness believed the victim lived at the same property as the dog that attacked him. He believed the dog in question was a RIDGEBACK BULL CROSS  or a similar breed.
He said another dog had been seized from that property in the past and that dogs from that house had been known to roam the street and “terrify” locals.
The City of Bayswater has been contacted for comment.
