VICTORIA, BC CANADA - A VERY LARGE ROTTWEILER ATTACKED A CHILD ON SCHOOL GROUNDS AND INJURED A TEACHER - A WOMAN WITH THE MONSTER GAVE FALSE CONTACT INFORMATION AND LEFT

Victoria Police say a child and a teacher were injured by a large dog on Thursday at a schoolyard on Quadra Street.
Police in Victoria are searching for a suspect after a large dog reportedly injured a child and teacher at a school on Quadra Street.
Officers were called to the school around 2:30 p.m. PT on Thursday after a dog attacked the child on school grounds and a teacher attempted to intervene, police said Friday.
The two victims, a child and a teacher, were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"It's concerning when there's any dog bite, especially against a child," said Const. Matt Rutherford of Victoria Police.
Police are looking for a woman who was with the dog and gave contact information to the victims that appears to be false.
She is described as Caucasian with a slender build and curly blond hair and is believed to be in her late 20s to early 30s. The dog is described as AN EXTREMELY LARGE BLACK AND BROWN ROTTWEILER.
"Once we get her side of the story and talk to all people involved and the witnesses, we will look at charges," Rutherford said. "We will work with animal control as well to determine what will happen with the dog."
Anyone with information should call Victoria Police at (250) 995-7654 or Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Canada needs to either ban these aggressive dog types nationwide or else to relax its gun laws so that citizens can be armed to kill these dogs on the spot.
