bit deep into her thigh and then continued to sink its teeth into her shin.
Keeleigh was treated at Lincoln County Hospital where she was rushed into theatre and had 35 stitches on her shin and 11 stitches on her thigh.
The "traumatic" ordeal on Wednesday, August 24, has left her suffering from terrible nightmares and she now needs counselling as a result.
"I can't sleep at night. I'm on quite a few tablets and I am having break downs," said Keeleigh.
"I can't walk near a dog. Sometimes I have nightmares that a dog is coming to get me. I'm really struggling."
The incident was reported to police but Keeleigh has now been given the news that the case cannot be taken any further due to a lack of evidence.
The victim, who lives in Worksop, had driven to Lincoln in an attempt to speak with the dog owner, and the discussion escalated into an argument.
keeleigh has been in and out of hospital following the attack in August and has had to be operated on twice after her wound became infected.
She said: "I've been left with a lot of scarring and the whole ordeal has left me traumatised."
