On the morning of Sept. 25 a man reported he was walking his dog in the 6700 block of Larme when his dog was attacked by a  PIT BULL. His 8-year-old English setter/Labrador mix suffered a serious puncture wound to its neck. The pit bull also sustained injuries during the attack, including a cut to its leg and two punctures in the right rib cage.
The pit bull’s owner said his daughter, a minor, mistakenly let the dog out of the fenced backyard. He offered to pay for the attacked dog’s veterinary expenses and remove the pit bull from his house. He was ticketed for animal at large.

Were those injuries inflicted by the other dog's owner with a knife?

Too bad pit tie poo wasn't fatally injured.
