GARLAND TX - A 6-YEAR-OLD GIRL IS STILL RECOVERING AFTER BEING ATTACKED IN THE FACE BY A NEIGHBOR'S HUSKY

The investigation has taken months, but police here tell us the case will now go to the District Attorney after the holiday, and that comes as a relief to the little girl's family. She was attacked by a neighbor's  HUSKY about 7 months ago suffering bites to her chest, back, arms and her face.

Yet again the usual bullshit. What we need (among other things) are ANY DOG laws -- ANY DOG that mauls a human or animal is summarily put down, no ifs-and-buts- or extensive appeals. The owner of ANY DOG that mauls a human or animal is prosecuted as if they did the assault their own personal selves -- no 'duh, but I wasn't home when the VICIOUS DOG I VOLUNTARILY CHOSE TO KEEP did what it did."

I second what Sweetie Pie said. Your dog attacks and injures or kills, it's on your head (and out of your pocket) for having an animal dangerously out of control. Assault charges mandatory. Cost of damages, medical and/or vet bills mandatory. Attacking dog PTS MANDATORY.
