NICHOLSON, JACKSON COUNTY GA - A MAN TRIED TO FEED A PIT BULL THAT HAD BEEN LEFT IN A BACKYARD...IT LATCHED ONTO HIS HAND AND WOULD NOT LET GO...HE DRAGGED IT TO HIS PICKUP AND GOT HIS GUN AND SHOT IT OFF HIM!

Jackson County Deputy Philip Wilshire was dispatched to Pittman Road in Nicholson earlier this month, where a man explained that a tenant in a house he owns had moved out and left a  PIT BULLDOG  chained in the backyard without food or water.
The man said he was attempting to feed the dog when it bit and latched onto his hand. The dog would not let go, so he dragged the dog to his pickup, got his gun and shot the dog in the head.
The deputy took photos of the dog and the man left for a hospital to have his injured hand examined.
