BALTIMORE MD - 2 PIT BULLS ESCAPED THEIR FENCED YARD AND ATTACKED 3 CHILDREN PLAYING NEARBY - POLICE WERE FORCED TO SHOOT THEM

VIDEO

Baltimore police shot two dogs that attacked three children, police said.  The officers responded around 10:50 a.m. Saturday to the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle in north Baltimore on a 911 call for a dog bite. There are conflicting stories about how the dogs escaped, whether they were aggressive and why police shot them.
Portia Blue witnessed city police shoot and kill a PIT BULL  that lunged at them.
"I left out my house and went up to the church. My nerves were gone," Blue said.
Police said  TWO PIT BULLS  escaped from their yard, scratched and cut two boys, ages 7 and 9, and a 6-year-old girl, who were playing nearby. They were not injured badly enough to require a trip to the hospital. City paramedics treated the children.
According to the police incident report, "One of the dogs jumped its fence while the other dog was able to squeeze through its fence."
Blue said a patrol car pulled up against a fence in the yard to corral the animals.
"One of the dogs got real aggressive and jumped across the car and the policeman had to shoot him. It was just a horrible scene for me," Blue said.
The other pit bull ran off and circled back, approaching officers from the other side.
"I heard a big boom," Blue said.
Police shot the second dog.
The dogs belong to Sharna Randall who said, "Police shot and killed my babies. Major and Savage were friendly dogs. I considered them like grandchildren. Neighbors told me kids let them out of my yard. Police shot my other baby as he tried to come home. Police killed both my dogs."
Blue said, under the circumstances, police did the right thing.
"He had to shoot him. He had no other choice," Blue said.
None of the officers were injured. Detectives from the Special Investigations Response Team are looking into the officers discharging their firearms.

Vicious pit bulls are your babies? You should probably get help for that. Pit bulls are not grandchildren either. Pit bulls are worthless, dangerous, unpredictable animals. Your pit bulls attacked actual children, and they are the victims, not you or your "babies".

Love how pit owners never seem to see their babies in attack mode. They are always MIA and clueless... big dumb babies themselves.
