BENIARBEIG, ALICONTE SPAIN - A NEIGHBOR'S 5 DOGS INCLUDING PIT BULLS FATALLY MAULED A 66-YEAR-OLD MAN

A pensioner reportedly savaged to death by five vicious dogs in a horrific attack that left his arms and legs "shredded to pieces" was found by his son after failing to return from a walk.
The 66-year-old man had bites on his head and face and "teeth marks everywhere" after the attack by the animals, which allegedly included several  PIT BULLS.
Police said it was clear he had tried to put up a fight and attempted to defend himself "until his last breath".
The animals attacked the pensioner on his own land after apparently escaping from a next door neighbour's rural property in Alicante, on Spain's southeastern Costa Blanca.
Shocked police said the victim's arms and legs had been "shredded to pieces" and he had bites on his head and face when he was found by his son in an orchard.
He was said to have "teeth marks everywhere" and had tried to shield himself from the vicious attack".
A police spokesman said: "He had obviously put up a fierce fight and had tried to defend himself to his last breath."
The man's son had gone out to look for his father after he went for a walk but had not returned several hours later.
