HUDSON, PASCO COUNTY FL - THREE LARGE PIT BULLS CHARGED AT A WOMAN WALKING HER SMALL DOGS AND ATTACKED HER CHIHUAHUA - SHE WAS FORCED TO USE HER 9MM HANDGUN TO SAVE HER PET

HUDSON (PASCO) – A Pit Bull was shot and killed Monday after officials say  a pack of Pit Bulls  attacked a woman and her three dogs as she walked along Thomas Blvd.
According to reports, 47-year-old Angela Riley was walking her three small dogs in front of 17535 Thomas Blvd around 11:00 a.m., when three large Pit Bulls charged at her and began attacking her Chihuahua. Riley says the dogs backed her up against a fence and would not allow her to escape. Riley screamed for help but when no one responded she pulled out her SCCY 9mm Handgun and tried hitting the Pit Bull. When the dog still refused to let go of her Chihuahua, Riley says she fired at least one round into a Pit Bull. The animal walked about 10’ back onto its own property where it collapsed and died.
Riley’s Chihuahua suffered several puncture wounds on the legs, shoulders, and thigh but the injuries were not life-threatening.....READ MORE HERE:

I went to the article to read the rest of it. The nutter owner, Kayle Melady, can't have children, so she has several pit bulls that eat harmless pet dogs. The cable guy is to blame for letting her horde of pit bulls out. She told Larry the Cable Guy not to use the gate, but he did it anyway! HOW DARE HE!

I'm glad one of the precious pit bulls was dirt napped. Let's see if Kayle can keep her 3 pit bulls contained, so the rest won't be shot to death. I doubt it!

I want to add that it's so easy for nutters to blame everyone else under the sun. The cable guy, the victim, the little Chihuahua. The blame lies squarely with the nutter. If you contain your pit bulls, they won't be out attacking people and hurting little Chihuahuas. The pit bulls won't be shot to death in order for the victims to stop the attack. It's really not that hard to figure out, but nutters are not known for being intelligent.

Breed Specific Legislation eliminates the learning curve for nutters. We'd all be safer, but nutters need to prove that pit bulls are just like regular dogs. An impossible task, but nutters are up for the challenge.

My husband and I had major problems having kids. Our only child didn't come along until 10 years after we married and had sought help from a fertility clinic. In the meantime, we filled our house with three dogs which were like children to us. Didn't choose dog murderers for our surrogate kids though. I still remind my kid to be nice to the elderly pug because she's my first baby. Really hope the owner of these vicious dogs learns to better corral the maulers. In all these years, my dogs haven't gotten out once - because they are precious to us, so we take care of them. If you know the cable guy is coming over, crate the dogs. Don't count on a complete stranger to take care not to let them out. Buck stops with the owner.
