PENTICTON BC CANADA - A ROTTWEILER ATTACKED ITS OWNER AND TRAPPED HER INSIDE A ROOM FORCING OFFICERS TO USE A LADDER TO RESCUE HER

A  ROTTWEILER attacked a Penticton woman, then trapped her inside a room as it barked and tried to force its way inside.
RCMP officers used a ladder to reach the room and managed to help the 27-year-old escape from the home, just as the dog burst through the door.
She was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries to her arm.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said the attack happened at at 10:30 p.m. Feb.14 at a home on Birch Avenue.
The fate of the dog is currently unknown.
