KEENE NH - 2 WOMEN WERE WALKING 4 DOGS...1 WITH HER UNLEASHED 3 PITS AND THE OTHER WITH HER GOLDEN RETRIEVER...THE PITS TRIED TO KILL THE GOLDEN AND WOULD NOT STOP UNTIL AN OFFICER FIRED AT THEM !!!

Police in Keene had to shoot a PIT BULL after reporting to a dog fight on Saturday.
Police responded to a trail off Graves Road, south of Route 101 on Saturday to a report of three pit bulls attacking a golden retriever.
The Sentinel Source reported that two women were walking the four dogs together without leashes along the trail when the three pit bulls all joined in to attack the golden retriever.
When officers arrived, the attack had stopped and the owner had secured her three pit bulls in her arms. However, they eventually got loose when officers approached and began attacking the golden retriever again.
Police then fired in the vicinity of the dogs, with one bullet striking a pit bull, leaving it wounded. The three pit bulls then fled the area of the golden retriever and were rounded up by their owner.
The golden retriever suffered serious injuries in the neck, body, legs and head, according to police.
Both the golden retriever and the shot pit bull were taken to a Concord veterinary hospital by the owners.

This is the new world order. Supposed "well socialized pit bulls" will attack and try to kill your normal dog during a walk. It's best to avoid pit bulls and their irresponsible owners at all costs.
