A 73-year-old Woodhaven woman remains hospitalized after TWO PIT BULLS two pit bulls went into attack mode while she was walking her dog close to her house on Foxcroft Street. The attack took place Wednesday afternoon.
Police confirmed the pit bulls first attacked the woman’s Labrador, and then turned on her when she tried to pull them away from her dog.  The woman’s husband, who police believe is a retired police officer, was approaching the house when he heard his wife screaming.
According to police, the man pulled his gun and shot one of the pit bulls twice, but the dog  WOULD STILL NOT TURN HIS WIFE LOOSE.
Police believe the husband had to use a landscape brick to break the dog away from his wife.  The other dog backed off and was captured and quarantined.
It is believed the owner of the dogs did not know they were out of the house until after the attack.

This doesn't sound like nanny dogs to me. Wait, yes it does! It always takes bullets to stop pit bulls from rampaging.

Here's another lovely story about a "pit bull mix" being dispatched with bullets.

I watched the video, and I'm happy that photos of the mauler were provided. The pit bull does not look like a "boxer mix", but a pit bull mixed with a Mastiff. Anyway, why was the precious pit bull kept in a shack out back? Why wasn't the nanny dog in the house with the rest of its loving family? The owner wanted a pit bull that lived outside, and wasn't treating it like a normal pet dog, until it gets 5 bullets pumped into it. Then all of a sudden, wah wah wah, my worthless pit bull that lives outside by itself got killed. It's just so unfair.

Yeah, right.
