UPDATE: Video on what appears to be nutter unleashing his dogs on people:

Dramatic footage has captured the moment armed police shot dead a group of dangerous out-of-control dogs which had attacked people in a town centre.
Police were called to reports of at least FIVE PIT BULL TYPE DOGS out of control on Queens Park, Chorley New Road, Bolton. A 60-year-old woman had suffered a bite to the hand and a man was bitten on the leg. A dog also suffered serious injuries.
One man can be seen being taken away by police during the incident and two dogs lie dead in the road.
Police say two dogs were humanely destroyed and two dogs were seized.
Officers are currently searching the area for another dog who is believed to be part of the group.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place and affray. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Superintendent Chris Allsop of Greater Manchester Police, said: “Highly trained officers responded quickly to the scene and took control to avoid the situation from escalating.
“The officers acted with our number one priority in mind; to protect people and prevent them from harm.

Are they pit bull type dogs, or Staffordshire Terriers? Are they the banned type of terrier, or the accepted type? Whichever, the outcome is the same; mayhem, pandemonium, terror, etc.
