BRIDGEPORT CT - A GRANDFATHER'S PIT BULL ATTACKED THEIR 1-YEAR-OLD GRANDSON AS THE CHILD HELD ON TO THE SIDE OF THE GRANDMOTHER'S WHEELCHAIR

Animal control officers seized the dog Tuesday morning.
A Bridgeport grandfather yanked his own dog off his wife and grandson Monday after it attacked.
Animal control officers seized the PIT BULL Tuesday morning.
The 1-year-old, who lives in Waterbury, was staying with his grandparents at their Bond Street home when the dog lunged Monday afternoon.

A 1-year-old baby is attacked by a nanny dog? For real? I'm so surprised!

Actually, what idiot has not already heard on the news somewhere that a pit bull has attacked a child? I seriously wonder why "grandparents" need a fighting breed. Or are these grandparents the type that are in their early 40s, and were grandparents by the time they were 32? I'm going to research this particular case a little and see what I come up with.
