DETROIT MI - AN AMERICAN BULLDOG MAULED A MAN AT HIS HOME...THE BULLDOG ??BELONGED TO A MAN WHO LIVES OUT OF STATE BUT HAD BEEN AT THIS HOME FOR 3 WEEKS??...IT WAS TRYING TO ATTACK ANOTHER DOG??...EXCUSES AND NUTTERS!!!

A man was attacked Friday by a dog while in his backyard on Detroit’s east side.
Cataire Field, 44, was cleaning up after the dog when the dog grabbed his arm and attacked him.
The dog, an AMERICAN BULLDOG, belongs to a relative who lives out of state and had been at the home on Edmore Drive for about three weeks.  According to family, Field was screaming so loudly that he woke up the whole family. His right arm was bleeding badly.
“I thought he was going to die,” said Mereeshia Miller, Field’s niece.
SHE SAID THE DOG WAS TRYING TO ATTACK ANOTHER DOG IN THE BACKYARD.  When Miller called 911, she was told not to go in the backyard because the dog still had blood on its snout and could go after her.
The dog, named Beethoven, was tranquilized and taken away by animal control.
Field’s son Kamari Knowles said Beethoven was a good dog.
The family said that before the dog came to stay with them, he was assaulted during a home invasion at another home. Since then, he had been acting differently, they said.
Field will need surgeries on his arm. The dog will likely be quarantined for 10 days per state law.

The pit bull was assaulted? Oh, poor thing! So its owner decided to dump it off on an unsuspecting family member? Smart move! Let someone else get mauled after a pit bull becomes dangerous. Don't dirt nap it!
