BARDSTOWN KY - A PIT BULL CHARGED INTO A YARD AND ATTACKED A MAN BITING HIS ARM...HE ATTEMPTED TO CLIMB A TREE AND THE MEAT GRINDER LATCHED ONTO HIS LEG

A Bardstown man was sent to the hospital Monday morning after he was attacked in his yard by a PIT BULL.

Kevin Peake was in his yard at 100 S. Palco St. when he saw a pit bull chasing a black Labrador retriever and called after the dog, according to police reports.

That was when another pit bull charged him and bit him on the left forearm. Peake tried to scramble up a tree to escape the dog but it latched onto his left leg. The owner was nearby and was able to get the dog off him.
