A Paradise woman is in fair condition at Enloe Medical Center tonight following a vicious PIT BULL attack in her own yard.
Paradise police responded to Keller Lane Friday morning to find the woman covered in blood.
Paradise police identified the victim as 61-year-old Ok Sun Lee.
Lee was just walking outside around her house when the dogs came onto her property and attacked.
Police said the woman was knocked down and was forced to curl into a ball as the dogs bit her legs, arms and head.
Lee was found screaming for help on her property as her husband tended to her wounds.
"In my 20 years of law enforcement, this is only the second time I've seen a severe mauling like this. Obviously there are bites, people get bitten, it happens, and a case like this where there really is significant injury, it's very very rare," said Paradise Police Lieutenant Anthony Borgman.
The pit bulls are owned by two separate owners. One dog is being quarantined at the Paradise Animal Control Shelter. The other dog has been removed from Paradise until the investigation finishes.
Investigators will now determine whether charges will be filed against the dog's owners.
