NORFOLK VA - A SWEET FAMILY PET BEAGLE CHLOE WAS ATTACKED BY A "FRIENDLY WELL-LOVED AND SOCIALIZED" PIT BULL ON NEW YEAR'S EVE

No automatic alt text available.

On New Year's Eve, an 11-year-old "friendly," "sociable," "well-loved" pit bull with no history of aggression did this (see photo) to my 13-year-old beagle, Chloe, without the slightest warning or provocation. She is recovering, but it has been a nightmare.

This is a photo taken yesterday of what a formerly "friendly" pit bull did to my sweet beagle, Chloe, on New Year's Eve without the slightest provocation or warning. The pit bull's guardian was shocked to find out what his "fun-loving, sociable, well-loved" dog was capable of. I love all dogs, but I will never trust another pit bull again--it's simply not worth the risk.

Socializing a pit bull is allowing it opportunities to maul and kill.
