The incident happened at around 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at a PetSmart in the 4100 block of South Pulaski Road, according to the Chicago Tribune. That's when a mastiff escaped in the store's grooming area, the report added.
The woman was bitten by the mastiff as she was walking another dog to the bathing area, the report stated. The mastiff also attacked the other dog, killing it, the report added.
Chicago police believe the dog attack was accidental, but the store and authorities are still investigating the incident.

Accidental? It sounds like the Mastiff intentionally broke out of its cage to attack. Oh, they mean like, Petsmart isn't at fault? HA!
Normal behavior for a lot of Mastiffs. Should never have happened. This stuff doesn't normally happen in vet clinics so why does it happen in Petsmart? Simply carelessness. If the store doesn't have facilities to handle dangerous animals, it shouldn't handle them.
